jeb's is a family owned and operated. jeb's is actually an acronym for Jeremy,
Elizabeth and Becky Kelly (Elizabeth is 9!).
Directions to jeb's of Lowville:
North of Lowville on Route 12, go straight instead of turning at the traffic
light onto Shady Avenue. We are located on the left at 5403
Shady Avenue.
South of Lowville, go straight on route 12 through town until the light to turn
to follow Route 12. Instead of turning left - turn right.
Directions to jeb's of Carthage:
North on Rt 26 into West Carthage - turn right at the McDonalds onto Bridge
Street. We are located on the right before the bridge.
South on 26, turn Left onto Bridge Street and we are located on the Right before
the bridge.
jeb's of Lowville opened it's doors for the first time on November 4th, 2002. We
will be celebrating our 5th anniversary in November 2007. We cater to families,
business people, large parties, and your typical casual diners. We
wholeheartedly welcome snowmobilers, four wheelers, skiers, vacationers and
people just passing through who need a comfortable place to settle into, relax,
eat some great food and
have fun!
We are located off the trails, right in the heart of quaint, downtown Lowville.
We will keep the lights on for you. Each of our three large rooms has a warm
stove to help you keep warm in the cold North Country winters.
Don't forget us if you have a special occasion - we would love to help you keep
birthday parties, showers, rehearsal dinners and other parties as simple as
possible. Enjoy yourself as we provide great food and relax because we will do
the clean-up!
Our atmosphere takes you back in time. Our building was built in the 1920's as a
post office. It has had several businesses over the years including a Kentucky
Fried Chicken, a Grand Union grocery store, Verr's Restaurant, Around The Corner
tavern and Stoney's II tavern. We have several comfortable booths including 4
booths that will accommodate parties of 7 or less. We also have a section just
for people who prefer tables and chairs.
Our rooms have high, original tin ceilings, and nostalgic items
decorating the walls and shelves. We have a raised section for a private feel
with warm Tiffany chandeliers to light your tables.
jeb's Sports Club is a bar that has made many an "out-of-towner" feel welcome
and comfortable. Come watch the big game on a comfortable bar stool in front of
our big screen TV. We always have free peanuts available. We have room in the
sports club for large parties as well. So come be part of the fun!
jeb's Carthage is our new addition. jeb's of Carthage opened on January 1st,
2007. jeb's of Carthage provides a different feel of jeb's. Our atmosphere is a
little smaller, enter through European style archways into our warm dining room
with raised booths around the outside and chairs and tables in the middle
section. You can reach jeb's of Carthage with your snowmobile - park near the
bridge and walk a short distance up the street to warm up with some great food
and drinks. Our bar section features several televisions and the sports
are always on! In the summer join us for outside dining in the
landscaped terrace at jeb's of Carthage. Forget the barbeque - let our wonderful
servers bring you everything you need. Our ribs, burgers and steaks are
mouth-watering and seasoned to perfection.
